In January we told you which cause the festival supports. Now the specifics: this year Pulse of Nation raises funds together with the Tytanovi team.
Tytanovi are veterans, service members and art-centre residents who help defenders return to life after severe injuries.
It's a surgery where a titanium implant is placed directly into the bone, and the prosthesis attaches to it directly — no socket, no chafing pain, with a real sense of support and control. For soldiers with complex amputations it's often the only chance to walk again.
Tytanovi take on the cases other centres turn down: high amputations, multiple limb loss. They have introduced COAPT technology for controlling bionic prostheses. All services for veterans are free.
